About the Event
Rapidly increasing scientific evidence supports the medical treatment of autism spectrum disorders alongside many additional complex pediatric conditions. The Medical Academy of Pediatric Special Needs (MAPS) offers a systematic pediatric CME program designed to prepare a medical professional to deliver the best possible care to children in distress. The MAPS scientific evidence-based course of study has been uniquely designed by clinicians for clinicians.
Parents are searching for qualified practitioners who can help their children reach their full potential. Clinicians are searching for solid, evidence-based education that will best prepare them to help their special needs patients. When searching through the complexities of these neuro-developmental disorders, MAPS helps provide direction.
Join us to hear from MAPS Executive Director Honey Rinicella as she shares the critical need for the organization to grow in an effort to fully support all children and young adults with complex special needs.
Honey Rinicella is the Executive Director of the Medical Academy of Pediatrics and Special Needs (MAPS) and a proud parent of 23-year-old twins with autism. Prior to her onboarding with MAPS, Honey spent nearly two decades working leadership roles for Non-Profits, supporting families and parents in the Autism/Special needs community. She has seen the lives of her children transform under the care of a MAPS physician, which in turn has sparked her passion to grow the organization.
The MAPS mission is to equip dedicated professionals in delivering the best possible care to children, teens, and young adults with special needs and complex medical conditions. Honey’s commitment is to ensure every child has the chance to achieve their full potential through this enhanced care. She knows firsthand that a properly educated practitioner is the true key to unlocking that potential in anyone with Special Needs.
