Maria Teresa Bates, Esq., is a distinguished attorney licensed in Florida and Washington DC. Her educational background includes a B.A. in Human Development and a minor in Latin American Studies from Eckerd College, a J.D. from Stetson University College of Law, and an LLM in Business Law from Florida State University. Her career began in counseling, transitioned to consulting, and eventually led her to law, where she founded two private adoption agencies and has been a guiding force in family building through adoption and assisted reproduction. Maria's dedication extends beyond her practice as she is actively involved in community organizations and pro bono work, focusing on family and community issues.
