About the Event
Join Dr. Elizabeth Forgione, MGS Provost and IRB Chair, as she discusses the study "Handwriting but not typewriting leads to widespread brain connectivity: a high-density EEG study with implications for the classroom."
With the shift towards digital devices replacing traditional handwriting, it is important to explore how this impacts the human brain. University students had their brain electrical activity monitored while they handwrote words presented visually with a digital pen and typed the words on a keyboard. Connectivity analyses were performed on EEG data.Â
After the details of the study are shared, a conversation regarding the implications for our work and the Masgutova Method will take place.
All donations are greatly appreciated and go towards Neurodevelopmental education and research.
