Masgutova Foundation – June 2026 Presentation
The First 28 Days: Understanding the Essential Tasks of a Newborn
with Isabelle Renard-Fontaine, MSPT, NICU/Infant Specialist
🗓 Monday, June 22, 2026
🕢 Time: 6:30 pm EDT
The first month of life lays the foundation for all future areas of the human neurodevelopment. In this engaging presentation, we will explore the essential neurodevelopmental tasks of the newborn period and how early reflex patterns, regulation, movements, bonding, and sensory experiences shape an infant’s ability to adapt to life outside the womb. Participants will gain insight into the critical role of the nervous system during the first 28 days of life and why these early experiences matter for long-term development, attachment, feeding, sleep, movement, and learning. This presentation is designed for parents, caregivers, and professionals seeking a deeper understanding of infant neurodevelopment from the very beginning.
